Launched in 1958 alongside the Explorer, both models were a resounding commercial failure… It wasn't until 1967 that Gibson relaunched production of the Flying V (and even 1976 for the Explorer!). Equipped with powerful Dirty Fingers pickups, this particular guitar is sold in its original case.
