The Grabber, released alongside the Ripper, is a quintessential 70s Gibson: maple neck and fretboard bolted to an alder body—a feature sure to make purists cringe! Gene Simmons of Kiss popularized this unique instrument. Some of the bridge saddle adjustment screws have broken but remain adjustable from below. This particular bass is 45 years old, shows numerous signs of wear, the capacitor has been replaced, and the original case is missing. A rare bass, and still affordable for a vintage instrument.
