Gibson Les Paul 1959 pre-historic 1989

Description :

From 1983, before the creation of the Custom Shop, until 1993, Gibson began producing reissues of its late 1950s Burst models: this is the Pre-Historic series. This 1959 LPR reissue model has many details that distinguish it from a Standard. It features an ABR-1 bridge, a narrower headstock, thinner binding… and above all, a superb flamed top! A 1989 vintage, it's equipped with Bill Lawrence HB-R and HB-L pickups, and comes with the iconic brown case with pink fuzzy lining that defined an era at Gibson… Rare, in excellent condition, and a true collector's item!
