From 1983, before the creation of the Custom Shop, until 1993, Gibson began producing reissues of its late 1950s Burst models: this is the Pre-Historic series. This 1959 LPR reissue model has many details that distinguish it from a Standard. It features an ABR-1 bridge, a narrower headstock, thinner binding… and above all, a superb flamed top! A 1992 vintage, it's equipped with Classic 57 pickups, and this beauty comes with the iconic brown case with pink fuzzy lining that defined an era at Gibson… Rare, in excellent condition, and a true collector's item!
