Released in 1954, the Junior was the most affordable model in the solidbody range (until the arrival of the Melody Maker), not by compromising on build quality, but by reducing options and finishes. This Double Cut is a real gem! The headstock has been repaired, the neck has been oversprayed, it features 1964 electronics, and the knobs are not original. This featherweight 3.12kg guitar has a neck profile different from those found on later Les Paul Juniors; rather thin at the top, it thickens towards the bottom. The P90 pickup is ready to unleash the power of a good all-tube amp. Sold with a recent hardshell case.
