Gibson Les Paul Reissue 1956 Custom Shop Goldtop VOS 2005 Historic Collection

Introduced in 1952, the Les Paul has continuously evolved throughout the decade. In 1956, the "ultimate" version, before the advent of PAF humbuckers, was introduced. It featured a Tune-O-Matic pickup system instead of a wraparound, and of course, a pair of P-90s. The construction remains classic: a thick mahogany body and neck, a maple top, and a rosewood fingerboard with a 12-inch radius. This Custom Shop model is in very good condition, sold with its certificate of authenticity and in its original Lifton case.
