Before adopting the Sunburst finish in 1958, Les Paul Standards were Goldtop. Goldtop? Not quite: this special edition boasts a rare and desirable color: Ebony… It was for the 1957 model year that the humbucker pickup replaced the P90 on this guitar. This 2008 reissue features Burstbucker pickups, one in the neck position and two in the bridge. Sold with its certificate of authenticity in its original case.
