In 1961, a major change occurred in the Gibson lineup: the Les Paul was discontinued to make way for the SG; well, almost, as it wouldn't officially adopt that name until 1963… This particular guitar, from the first year of production, still features a pair of PAF humbuckers, the legendary pickups created by the brand in 1957. It boasts the beautiful Vibrola Sideways tremolo, which, as its name suggests, operates from the side, unlike a traditional vibrato. No damage, no repairs, everything is original except for a refret and the selector switch drip. In excellent condition, sold in its rare original Lifton case.
