The Melody Maker, a simple mahogany guitar, was the entry-level model that appeared in the Kalamazoo brand's catalog in 1959. It adopted the SG shape in 1966, and upon its discontinuation in 1970, the SG100 and 200 took over. Produced for only two years, it's a rare model. A single-coil pickup in the neck position, a volume control, a tone control—it couldn't be simpler!
