In 1961, when the Les Paul changed shape to become the SG, the Junior followed suit, though it wasn't until 1963 that it finally received its definitive name: SG. It's the simplest model in the range after the Melody Maker: a P90 pickup, a volume control, a tone control, and that's it! This is the top of the line: a Custom Shop model crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Sold with its certificate of authenticity in its original case.
