Gibson SG Reissue 61 Heritage Cherry 2011

With its wide headstock, Les Paul designation, and small pickguard, this SG is a reissue of the model that first appeared in 1961. The neck is a slim taper: wide and flat, it facilitates fast playing. Here, the original Classic 57 pickups have been replaced with a pair of high-end pickups: Seymour Duncan Skinner Burst signature Joe Bonamassa pickups (around €400 for the set on the used market). This particular guitar was once equipped with a Bigsby, comes in its Gibson case, and weighs only… 2.99 kg!
