Gibson SG Special 1970 Cherry

In 1961, when the Les Paul changed shape to become the SG, the Special followed suit, though it wasn't until 1963 that it finally received its definitive name: SG. Compared to a Junior, the neck features binding, a nice logo, and most importantly, a second P90 pickup! SGs from this era are fragile, and this one has a repair to the electronics cavity. The tuners, vibrato arm, and potentiometer knobs are not original. Simple and effective with its two P90s, it's the very essence of rock and roll! Sold with a generic case.
