Gretsch G6119BO Broadkaster Bass 2005 Orange

The Broadkaster Bass is a semi-hollow short-scale (30-inch) bass made in Japan, with a very vintage look typical of the brand, and a laminated maple body. The pickups here are from TV Jones, an excellent pair of Thunder'Tron models. It delivers a round, warm, and woody tone, with plenty of bass and a smooth attack, sometimes reminiscent of an electric upright bass, while also being able to become more percussive for rockabilly or indie styles. Very comfortable thanks to its short scale, it offers a truly distinctive sound, and its construction makes it lightweight: 3.56 kg on our scale! In very good condition, sold with its original case.
