Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer 40th Anniversary Ruby

About this instrument

The TS-808 40th Anniversary Ruby is a limited edition released in 2019 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic Tube Screamer, introduced in 1979. Made in Japan, it retains the traditional analog circuitry with its JRC4558D chip, delivering the famous smooth and warm overdrive, pronounced mids, and a creamy tone particularly appreciated in blues and rock. It features the three classic controls—Overdrive, Tone, and Level—as well as the square footswitch of the original TS-808. Its main distinguishing features are its stunning Ruby Red Sparkle finish and limited production run.
