It combines the famous overdrive circuit with an independent booster, which can be engaged before or after the overdrive section. It retains the warm, mid-heavy, and dynamic Tube Screamer sound, perfect for pushing a tube amp or thickening a clean tone. The boost is adjustable (up to +20 dB), making it a very versatile pedal.
