J. Rockett Audio Design Blue Note Tour Series

The Blue Note Tour Series is a low-gain, American-made analog overdrive pedal, designed as a compact version of the Blue Note Pro Series, but without the "Hot Switch." It prioritizes a very transparent, dynamic, and natural sound, ranging from a clean boost to a light crunch and then to a more pronounced overdrive, while preserving the character of the guitar and amp. Its four controls—Volume, Gain, Tone, and Fat—allow for precise adjustment of the level, gain, treble, and bass, with the Fat knob being particularly useful for thickening the sound or adapting the pedal for single-coil or humbucker pickups. It works very well with an amp that's already slightly cranked and is especially suited to blues, jazz, rock, and edge-of-breakup sounds.
