KingTone The Duelist V2

The Duellist is an extremely acclaimed boutique dual overdrive pedal, conceived as a fusion of two legendary circuits: one inspired by the Tube Screamer (“String Singer”) and the other closer to a reworked Bluesbreaker (“Heavy Hand”). Handcrafted in the USA, it stands out for its enormous dynamic range, transparency, and ability to handle everything from subtle boosts to thick, singing overdrives. Each channel features numerous controls and voicings (Fat/Stock/Glass), with dip switches allowing adjustments to clipping, response, and amp-like character. The V2 adds a much more convenient A/B or B/A channel order selector. Highly expressive and particularly well-suited to Fender or Marshall amps, it is often considered one of the absolute benchmarks for modern high-end dual overdrive pedals.
