Marshall JMP-1 Preamp

The Marshall JMP-1 is a 1U rack-mountable tube preamp released in the 1990s. Equipped with two 12AX7 tubes, it offers a wide range of tones, from bright cleans to the classic Marshall overdrive. It features four channels: Clean 1, Clean 2 (crunch), OD1 (classic rock), and OD2 (metal), each programmable with independent controls (gain, EQ, volume, etc.). It also includes a digital EQ, an effects loop, line outputs with speaker simulation, and full MIDI connectivity, making it a highly valued tool in both studio and live settings. A true Marshall rack classic, it remains sought after for its versatility and distinctive character.
