Martin D-18 Natural 1959

Description :

The D-18 stands out from much of the range with its mahogany back and sides (rosewood is more common on Martin guitars). The bridge and fingerboard are ebony, giving the guitar a clean, understated look while showcasing some lovely finishing details. This 60-plus-year-old beauty is perfectly playable thanks to a neck reset and new nut and saddle. The sound is exactly what you'd expect from a guitar of this age and price—simply splendid! A crack has been repaired near the tuning machines and on the lower side. The spruce top has a "bear claw" grain, a rare feature that adds a certain charm to this D-18! Sold with a recently replaced case.
