Similar to the D-28, the D-35 was created in 1965. The three-piece back and sides are made of rosewood, lending a certain warmth to the sound of this D-35. The bridge and fingerboard are made of ebony. This 1969 model is one of the last to feature Brazilian rosewood, which, in addition to its spectacular aesthetics, gives this dreadnought an exceptional tone. With over fifty years of age, it has undergone some repairs: a headstock fracture, cracks on the back and one side, a filled hole in the back, a re-glued bridge, etc. The guitar has been refretted, and the nut, pickguard, and tuners have been replaced. In short, a museum piece, but a perfectly playable instrument with extraordinary tones!
