Martin D-42 Natural 1996

Along with the D-45, the D42 sits at the top of the Dreadnought range. At Martin, the higher the model number, the more elaborate the details. Mother-of-pearl binding around the top and soundhole, ebony bridge and fingerboard (with snowflake-shaped inlays), and so on… As for the construction, the top is Sitka spruce, the back and sides are rosewood, and the neck is mahogany. This particular guitar dates from 1996 and comes with its original case.
