Meinl Artisan Minera Cajon Limba

About this instrument

The Meinl Minera is a high-end cajon from the Artisan Edition series, crafted in Spain with the expertise of instrument maker José "Pepote" Hernández Díaz. It features a 9mm multi-ply Baltic birch body and a limba playing surface, a wood that provides excellent tonal definition and precise treble. Its snare system comprises two sets of four micro-wound metal strings arranged in a V-shape, offering a sensitive response and a particularly responsive snare effect, even at low volumes. It also benefits from a bass reflex system with an oval rear vent to enhance the bass frequencies, rounded corners, and thumb rests for improved playing comfort.
