Music Man Stingray 4 Sunburst 1981

Music Man is Leo Fender's second brand, created in the 1970s (a third, G&L, would later emerge). The Stingray, an active bass, was an immediate success upon its release. This 4-string Stingray is a 2 EQ model, pre-Ernie Ball, one of the very first true examples, here with a maple fretboard. Two strap buttons have been added: you'll easily find its balance point, and this one is sold without its original case. Beautiful patina from over 40 years of playing!
