Nobels ODR-1 BC Natural Overdrive

The ODR-1 BC (Bass Cut) is the modern evolution of the legendary ODR1, a German pedal that became a staple for Nashville guitarists like Jerry Donahue, Tom Bukovac, and Tim Pierce. It retains the full, natural, and dynamic tone that made the original so successful, with Drive, Spectrum (a Nobels-specific EQ that simultaneously affects the bass and treble while preserving the midrange), and Level controls, but adds a Bass Cut switch hidden beneath the battery compartment. This switch reduces low frequencies, an improvement particularly appreciated with guitars equipped with humbuckers or amplifiers already rich in bass. The pedal operates at 9 to 18V for increased headroom, features a Remote output compatible with switchers, and maintains its excellent sensitivity to pick attack and the guitar's volume control. Renowned for its transparent, warm overdrive and very close to the behavior of a pushed amp, it is ideal as a boost, main overdrive or "always on" pedal.
