Ovation Collector Series 1982-8 Blue Burst

This Ovation, electro-acoustic of course, comes from the Collectors Series, which was part of the range between 1981 and 2010. The Collectors Series served as a showcase for the brand, featuring innovations that have become classics or have been forgotten with these limited editions. For the 1982 model year, 1908 examples were produced in the United States. It features a solid spruce top, an ebony fingerboard with diamond inlays, and a beautiful mahogany and maple neck. This Deep Bowl model incorporates the stereo FET system, from the Adamas series, controlled by two walnut potentiometer knobs (walnut is also used for the bridge). The label inside the case has been lost. Sold with a hardshell case.
