PRS Swamp Ash Special 1998

At Paul Reed Smith, tradition dictates a mahogany body with a maple top, but this Special is made of swamp ash to maintain its lightness. The pickups consist of a pair of McCartys complemented in the middle position by a Seymour Duncan SVR-1. All of this is controlled by two potentiometers, a three-way selector switch, and a coil-split switch: versatility guaranteed! It's worth noting the rosewood fretboard, which is rare for this model. This 1998 example shows signs of use and is sold with its original case.
