The 4001 (preceding the 4003) is the quintessential rock bass! With Lemmy Kilmister, Chris Squire, and Cliff Burton as ambassadors, it has long since earned its stripes. This 1975 model has developed a superb patina but, above all, is very playable: straight neck, normal action, etc. The bridge has been replaced, and the original parts are included. A few solder joints have been redone to keep this nearly 50-year-old beauty in top condition. Sold with its original case.
