Xotic Effects XVP-25K

The XVP25K is a low-impedance volume pedal designed for use after effects pedals, in an amplifier's effects loop, or with instruments equipped with active pickups. Unlike the XVP-250K, which is designed for guitars with passive pickups, the 25K version perfectly preserves the signal from active circuits without any tonal loss. Made with a die-cast aluminum housing, a high-quality audio potentiometer, hand-wired 100 % cable, and a rack and pinion mechanism replacing the traditional string system, it offers an extremely smooth, precise, and durable action. Its size, approximately two-thirds the size of a standard volume pedal, makes it ideal for compact pedalboards while maintaining a very natural feel of control. It also features a tuner output (Tuner Out) for tuning your guitar without interrupting the main signal. Being entirely passively powered, it requires no external power supply.
