Yamaha SB-2A Sunburst 1968

999,00

The SB2A is one of Yamaha's very first electric basses and belongs to the legendary "Flying Samurai" series, produced from 1967 to 1971. Made in Japan, it stands out with its futuristic, distinctly 1960s design, featuring an asymmetrical body, an original headstock, and a medium-scale 800 mm (31.5 inches) scale length, shorter than a traditional Fender. It is equipped with a single-coil pickup positioned near the neck, with volume and tone controls, offering a round, deep, and warm sound, particularly well-suited to rock, rhythm & blues, and vintage soul. It has 20 frets (plus a zero fret) and weighs 3.84 kg.
