The Keeley DS-1 Ultra Mod is an enhanced version of the classic Boss DS-1, modified by Robert Keeley to address its limitations and create a more musical pedal. It retains the DNA of the DS-1 but with a warmer, more organic, and better-defined sound. Two modes are available: Standard Mode, which provides greater clarity and dynamics, and Ultra Mode, which offers a richer, more singing distortion, ideal for solos. It is highly regarded for its ability to transform a basic pedal into a true powerhouse.
