A pioneer among basses, the P-Bass was released in 1951 but didn't reach its "final" form until 1957. The construction here is classic, with a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25-inch radius, and an Olympic White body. The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan Basslines Quarter Pounds, and the rest of the electronics have been updated. The exemplary quality of craftsmanship, assembly, and finish characteristic of Japanese production is evident.
