The Melody Maker is THE entry-level guitar at Gibson. Even simpler than a Junior or a Special, it's a mahogany body fitted with a pair of single-coil pickups. This beautiful 1963 example is completely original except for the bridge, so a wound G string wouldn't be necessary. This featherweight 2.6kg guitar is in excellent condition for its 60 years!
