Mythos Pedals Chupacabra

The Chupacabra is an American boutique pedal situated between overdrive, boost, and fuzz, inspired by the Texas guitar tones of early ZZ Top albums and the playing of Billy Gibbons. Based on a CD4049 CMOS chip, it offers a thick, dynamic, and very organic tone, with plenty of headroom and excellent response to pick attack and guitar volume. Featuring simple controls (Gain and Output), it can function as a boost or a tweed amp-style overdrive at low gain, then evolve into a more aggressive, harmonically rich fuzz as the gain is increased. Handcrafted in the USA and true bypass, it is prized for its vintage character and its ability to retain definition while adding a great deal of personality to the sound.
