Rickenbacker 4001 JetGlo 1976

The 4001 (which preceded the 4003) is the quintessential rock bass! With Lemmy Kilmister, Chris Squire, and Cliff Burton as ambassadors, it has long since earned its stripes. This 1976 model is black—or rather, JetGlo, as they say within the Californian brand; it has developed a beautiful patina, the pickguard has been replaced, the truss rod cover repainted for a more aggressive look, the neck pickup rewound, and the tuners replaced with G&Ls. Sold with a semi-rigid case.
